This policy applies to hosts who create a WedPOV account and to guests who RSVP or use the guest camera without an account.

For your account data, WedPOV is the controller. For guest RSVPs and photos collected for a specific wedding, the couple (host) decides why that data is collected; we process it to run the tools they turned on.

• Host account: email address and sign-in details from our auth provider (for example email magic link or Google).
• Wedding profile: names, date, location, copy, cover images, and other content you publish.
• RSVPs: guest names, attendance, meal choices, and other answers the host’s form asks for.
• Guest camera: photos and related capture data (and optional guest name if the host asks for it).
• Payments: Paddle collects billing name, address, email, and payment method to complete checkout. We receive confirmation that a wedding was paid, plan, and a Paddle transaction id — not your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser, and basic logs so we can keep the service secure and reliable. We may use error monitoring and rate limiting.

Guests can RSVP and shoot through the guest camera without creating a WedPOV login. We still process what they submit so it can appear in the host’s website, guest list, camera, and gallery.

• Operate the website, RSVP, guest camera, and gallery
• Authenticate hosts and provide customer support
• Process one-time payments and fulfill paid plans
• Prevent abuse, spam, and security incidents
• Improve reliability (for example diagnosing outages)

We do not sell personal data or guest wedding photos.

We use processors who only get what they need to provide their service:

• Paddle — Merchant of Record and payment processor. See Paddle’s privacy policy.
• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for covers, guest photos, and downloads.
• Upstash — rate limiting, when enabled.
• Hosting, email, and error-monitoring providers that keep the app running.

We may disclose data if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, with equivalent protections where required.

We use cookies and similar storage for host sign-in and to keep the product working. Paddle may set cookies during checkout. We do not use advertising trackers to follow you across other sites.

Host accounts and wedding content stay until you delete them or ask us to, subject to backups and legal retention. Paid galleries are hosted until the wedding date plus 12 months (Pro) or plus 2 years (Platinum). After hosting ends we may delete media. Payment records are kept as needed for tax, fraud, and accounting (including records Paddle retains as Merchant of Record).

Hosts can update wedding content in the dashboard and request account or data deletion by emailing support@wedpov.com. Guests who want a photo or RSVP removed should contact the couple first; we will help the host where we can.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email us to use those rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

WedPOV is for adults planning a wedding. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 as account holders. Guest photos may include children attending a wedding; hosts are responsible for how they share that gallery.

We and our processors may store data in the United States, the European Union, and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
